In this day and age of focus on consistent profitability and low risk tolerance, more and more corporations need (and indeed shareholders demand) assistance in assessing the corporation's true risk positions. 

We believe that corporations should focus on managing the risks they know best - the fundamentals of their respective businesses.  In order to focus on these "business related" risks - it is important to thoroughly understand the total risk picture of the client and then decide which risks are really business related and which are not.  It is then important to understand what you can do with those non-business related risks. 

This is where FIRM can provide assistance - firstly in analysing the total risk position of a client - and later in designing structures and programs and processes to hedge or mitigate these unwanted risks.  We help clients to move the non-core risks off their balance sheets onto the balance sheets of those whose business it is to deal with those risks.
